Reporting airports are coloured by flight category; tap one to open the raw report and its decoding.
Plain-language decoding
METAR and TAF lines are opened word by word — wind, visibility, cloud, temperature, pressure and weather phenomena.
Runway and crosswind
The likely active runway and the crosswind component are worked out from the wind direction.
3D cloud profile
Cloud layers are drawn in three dimensions above the airport, so the ceiling reads at a glance.
Seven-day meteogram
Hour-by-hour wind, visibility, cloud and precipitation from a blend of ECMWF, GFS, ICON, GEM, Météo-France and the UK Met Office.
Vertical cloud profile
An hour-by-hour vertical cross-section for every airport: cloud layers, freezing level and winds aloft, with a UTC day/time axis along the bottom. Open to everyone.
Automatic weather alerts
Get notified when visibility, ceiling, wind or thunderstorm thresholds are crossed at your airports — pushed from the server, even with the app closed.
Trend and outlook
The TAF, the model blend and the trend of recent reports are combined into a data-driven 'Expected' card for every period.

- The vertical cloud profile is now open to everyone, with a UTC day/time axis at the bottom; ceiling labels no longer overlap the wind text.
- Automatic push weather alerts and a 'latest updates' window that explains what is new on the site.
- New annual pricing (Pilot €20, Pro €40, Fleet/API €79) and a 15-day free trial for guests.
- Fog symbol (FG) on the map during fog hours; the forecast endpoint is hardened against Open-Meteo outages.
METAR TAF 3D · iOS and Android
- Weather alerts are now pushed from the server — they arrive even with the app closed, without duplicates.
- New map: a single search bar, a control column on the right, radar playback, SIGMET areas with 'TS' badges, and crisp CTR/TMA boundaries at close zoom.
- Realistic weather animations: rain, snow, hail, lightning, fog and wind; precipitation starts at the CB/TCU base, and CBs are read from the raw METAR.
- Trend screen: the same chart set for every period and an 'Expected' card built from the TAF, the models and the trend.
- A QNH converter (hPa ↔ inHg) in Settings; airports that close overnight show the latest METAR from the last 36 hours.
